Parkcrest is continuing our tradition of participating in the Terry Fox Run and fundraising this year. We want to honour this real-life Canadian hero and to help raise money for cancer research. Our Terry Fox Run will be on Friday, September 23rd.
There are THREE ways to help with fundraising this year:
1. Donating online here: http://www.terryfox.ca/ParkcrestElementary/
Students can either share the link to family and friends who might be able to donate, or they can click on the link on the top right of the page and create their own personal donation page. Please make sure to be there during the initial creation of a student fundraising page, as it requires parental permission and contact information.
2. T-shirt orders can be made through school cash online Deadline to order is Sept. 21st at 9:00am.
3. Twoonie for Terry! From September 20th – 23, students from Division 3 will be collecting “Twoonies” or any loose change for donations to the Terry Fox Foundation.
