We are encouraging all students to participate in the Parkcrest Summer Reading Challenge.
As we know the summer can be filled with many exciting adventures and we understand if you
aren’t able to read every day. If you can read most days, 7 days can be missed to participate
in the challenge, your name will be put into a draw for a prize when we return to school in
September. Remember reading can look like many different things such as: reading with a
buddy, being read to, listening to an audio book, and reading different types of things like
magazines, comics, graphic novels, etc. If you choose to join in the Burnaby Public Library
Summer Reading Club that will count as well, just bring in your log sheet from that challenge
and your name will be entered into the Parkcrest draw. Happy Reading!!!!
